An Afternoon of Trumpet and Piano: November 15

Join us for a benefit concert, featuring Frank Kaderabek, trumpet, and Veronika Roemer, piano, on Sunday, November 15 at 3 p.m. in Rose Hall.

Kaderabek served as Principal Trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1975 until his retirement in 1995. His previous appointments included Principal Trumpet of the Dallas and Detroit Symphonies and Assistant Principal Trumpet of the Chicago Symphony. For the past 32 years, he has been a faculty member of the Curtis Institute of Music and an adjunct instructor in the School of Music at West Chester University.

Roemer studied viola and piano in her native Switzerland and taught music at Emerson College in England. She moved to the United States in 1990 and has been active in teaching viola, piano and lyre. Currently, Roemer leads the music program at Kimberton Hills and performs regularly as a solo violist and as a piano accompanist.

The suggested donation for the benefit concert is $10 at the door. Advance tickets are not necessary. We hope to see you there!

Sun and Fun at the Hoedown

Despite the forecast of rain and clouds, it turned out to be a beautiful day for the Fall Festival and Hoedown on Saturday, October 3.

Thank you to all who came out to enjoy the great music and folk dancing, crafts, food and pumpkin painting.

A special thank you to our lead sponsor: Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust.
